Raul A. Perez
Raul A. Perez was born in Valencia, Venezuela. Mr. Perez family moved from Venezuela to Miami, FL at an early age, where Mr. Perez has grown up. Mr. Perez has much love and affection for his parents, Mr. Perez father, a Venezuelan national, met Mr. Perez mother when he was living in Cuba. To this day, Mr. Perez maintains strong ties with the Venezuelan and Cuban communities. Mr. Perez earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Florida International University, as well as certificates in Cuban America Studies, Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
Mr. Perez received his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he participated in a variety of organizations. Mr. Perez sat on the board and was the Vice President of the Elder Law Society, the Cuban American Student Bar Association and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Mr. Perez was also a Member of the St. Thomas Law School Mock Trial Team, where he participated in competitions around the country and a Member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. Mr. Perez went on to obtain his LL.M degree in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Mr. Perez began his career as an attorney in complex litigation by assisting in class action lawsuits against insurance companies in the areas of health care. Mr. Perez now focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Law, and Immigration. Mr. Perez is very passionate about helping clients and making sure that the clients receive the very best representation. Mr. Perez is constantly learning and expanding his knowledge on the law; his attention to detail is unparalleled. Mr. Perez is also fluent in Spanish.
